You don’t have to be a clinician to be part of this work.

The Danny Boy Foundation exists because people choose to show up for individuals, for families, and for systems that need to do better.

Whether you’re reaching out with a question, exploring partnership, or wanting to give your time, we’re glad you’re here.

Apply To Join the Founding Circle

The Danny Boy Foundation was created to honor the life and memory of Danny Ashtiani and to advance a mission centered on suicide prevention, mental health access, and community support for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

We are building a thoughtful, compassionate, and action-oriented board made up of individuals who care deeply about mental health, neurodiversity, and saving lives. Board members help guide the strategic direction of the foundation, support fundraising efforts, strengthen community partnerships, and act as ambassadors for the mission.

If this work speaks to you, we would be honored to learn more about you.

Volunteer With Us

We are building something intentional, and we are looking for people who feel aligned with our mission.

You do not need to have a mental health background to contribute.

We are looking for people who:

  • Care deeply about mental health, equity, and human dignity

  • Value neurodiversity-affirming care

  • Are reliable, collaborative, and thoughtful

  • Are open to learning and contributing within a growing organization

A Note About This Work

Most suicide prevention begins in crisis.

At the Danny Boy Foundation, we focus on what happens before it.

That means this work requires care, consistency, and people who are willing to build, not just react.

If that resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
