Roop Raj and FOX 2 Interview

We were honored to sit down with Roop Raj and FOX 2 Detroit to talk about something deeply important to us: suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and the urgent need for more support for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

At The Danny Boy Foundation, this mission is personal. We believe every person deserves to feel seen, understood, supported, and connected — especially those who have spent their lives masking, misunderstood, or struggling silently.

Neurodivergent individuals are at significantly higher risk for anxiety, depression, isolation, bullying, and suicidality, yet so many still face barriers to affirming and accessible care. Conversations like this matter because awareness saves lives, community saves lives, and early support saves lives.

Thank you to Roop Raj and the FOX 2 team for helping amplify this message and giving space to conversations that so many families are longing to have openly.

If this conversation helps even one person feel less alone, it matters.
